ADHD and executive dysfunction
Write the thing you keep not doing. Nami makes the first step small enough to start.
You do not need a diagnosis to use Nami, and it never asks for one. This page is for anyone who knows the problem: the task is not hard, starting it is. Nami is built around that, and around days that are not all the same.
The first step is the smallest one
Tell Nami “I keep not booking the dentist” and the plan starts with “Find the practice’s number”. Every step takes two to five minutes, and the first is one that cannot be refused: opening a page, finding one number, writing one sentence. The plan goes on your board, step by step, instead of into a paragraph you would have to copy out.
When a step is still too big
Press Smaller on any step and Nami splits that one step, where it stands, into two to four smaller ones. You can also reword a step, un-tick one, or move a deadline, on the board or by asking Nami in chat.
One thing, not a list
Today shows one task, chosen for the level you set: something the day can carry comes before something heavier. If it is the wrong one, Not this one shows the next. The rest sit below it, and at Low they are out of sight.
Starting, and stopping
Work on this puts one step on the screen with the time you have been at it, counting up. Before you begin you choose where you will stop, so the end is decided while it is easy to decide. When you reach it the page says so, and you stop or take one more.
Days that are not the same
Each day you set your level: Peak, Active, Steady, Low or Rest. Replies get shorter as it drops, and the board shows fewer steps at a time: eight at Peak, three at Low, one at Rest. A plan made on a low day keeps every step, and the rest wait for a fuller day.
What Nami leaves out
No streaks, no overdue markers, no countdowns, no red badges. Nami never works out your level from how you type; you set it. Nami is not medical care, and it does not diagnose or treat ADHD.
Thirty days to see whether it fits.
Replies and planning are included for thirty days, then with a monthly subscription. Your board, notes and memories stay yours either way. After the thirty days, €9.99 a month.
If the price is what stands in the way, write to hello@namiai.app and ask for a lower one.
